The making
How a MasterPiece is made
Step 02
Measure & choose cloth
Over twenty points of measure become your personal pattern. Then choose from premium cloths from Italy, England, Switzerland, Germany, Spain and Japan.
Day 1 · Guided by our specialists
Step 03
Pattern & chalk
Your pattern is drafted and struck onto the cloth in tailor's chalk — the lapel width, button stance and vents exactly as you specified.
Days 2–4 · One pattern, kept on file
Step 04
Cutting
Each piece is cut by hand along the chalk, following the grain so the cloth drapes and moves the way it should.
Days 4–6 · Cut by hand
Step 05
Stitch & fitting
The jacket is basted and fitted on you. Adjustments are made at the shoulder, chest and sleeve before the final stitching and buttonholes.
Days 10–15 · Fitting at your atelier
Step 06
Press & deliver
Pressed, finished and ready for collection — crafted for you to wear and appreciate its exceptional craftsmanship.

MasterPiece Tailor originates from a family deeply rooted in the textile industry, proudly serving the Penang community since the 1920s — and now Selangor.
